I tend to use a lot of abbs in my technical writings because it saves me a lot of time and makes my posts more concise. However, too many abbs can make my writings nearly incomprehensible for newcomers and a nightmare to read for those with lesser lexical memory.
Hero: But worry not my readers, for I shall compile a list of abbs regularly.
Chorus: Comile, oh he will!
Usage: non-abbreviated form of a word or expression followed by the abbreviated form enclosed in curly brackets, for example {e.g.}
